Dedicated Support for the People Holding Everything Together
Eating disorder treatment rightly focuses on the person who is ill — but parents and caregivers are often left to navigate an enormously stressful experience with little guidance. Parent and carer coaching fills that gap.
Unlike family therapy sessions where the focus is shared, coaching sessions are exclusively for you. We work on the specific challenges you face right now — the meal that fell apart, the conversation you are dreading, the uncertainty about whether what you are doing is helping.
Coaching is grounded in Family-Based Treatment (FBT), the New Maudsley Approach, and DBT-informed communication skills. Sessions are 50–60 minutes via telehealth, weekly or bi-weekly, with superbills provided for out-of-network reimbursement.
